The Manor of Groves Hotel

On Monday 3rd November 2025 we held our Legends of Boxing Evening at The Manor of Groves Hotel, Sawbridgeworth.

Our celebrity guests on the night  included our President and former World Heaveyweight Champion Frank Bruno MBE, Former Light Heavyweight World Champion John Conteh MBE, Former Featherweight Champion of the World Colin McMillan BEM, Former Super Welterweight Champion of the World Maurice Hope MBE, Former Flyweight Champion of the World Charlie Magri, Former World Welterweight Champion John H. Stracey, Former WBO Middleweight Champion of the World Jason Matthews, and former British, Commonwealth and European heavyweight Champion Derek Williams.

We were also delighted to welcome ten members of the Yeoman Warders from H.M. Tower of London.

Eurosport’s Steve Holdsworth was the MC for the evening and comedian Aaron James was on hand to keep our guests entertained.
