The President's Sporting Club held their latest Gentlemen’s Boxing Evening at the Manor of Groves Hotel on 1st March 2010. The evening was a great success. There were 11 bouts of amateur boxing which were all of a very high standard. Celebrity guests included; Sir Henry Cooper, John Conteh, Charlie Magri and Billy Walker. A total of over £8,000 was raised during the evening.

The next  Gentlemen's Boxing Evening will be held on Monday 1st November 2010 again be at the Manor of Groves Hotel, near Sawbridgeworth. Tickets are now available at a cost of £50 per person. The cost includes a fabulous 3 course meal which is served at ringside, top quality boxing and a charity auction. There is also the opportunity to meet some of the UK's Boxing Legends on the night, so do not forget the camera.
