A valuable fund raising event for us each year is the Celebrity Golf Classic, which is held at the five-star Hanbury Manor Hotel and Country Club. This year the event was held on May 26th 2010. This event is regarded as one of the most prestigious Celebrity-Amateur events that is held in the UK.

Celebrities who have played in the event include: Sir Trevor Brooking, Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Henry Cooper, Sir Geoff Hurst, Sir Steve Redgrave, Geoffrey Boycott, Jasper Carrott, Frankie Dettori, Bruce Forsythe, John Francome, Jeremy Guscott, Pat Jennings, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Martin Peters, Francois Pinaar, Rory Underwood, John Virgo, Dennis Waterman and Kevin Whately.

A date for The Celebrity Golf Classic in 2011 has yet to be defined.

The cost for a team of three, playing with a celebrity player in the Celebrity Golf Classic is £1,150.00

What is included?

• Each team of three is allocated a celebrity player.
• A superb breakfast is available on arrival.
• Each player receives a: ‘Goodie Bag’ containing a selection of leisure items and equipment.
• There will be an outstanding selection of prizes for:
• The first four teams
• Best score on first nine holes
• Best score for the back nine holes
• Nearest to the pin on all three par holes

In the evening an excellent dinner will be served in our exclusive marquee, followed by a top quality cabaret.
